中文「笑到最后」来源于英文俗语“Have/get the last laugh”?

中文经常听人说:“谁笑到最后?”,就是谁取得最后胜利的意思。其实在英文中也有对应俗语,叫“Have/get the last laugh”,它用来描述 “当大家都认为某人做某事会失败时,TA却获得了成功” ,例如:She was fired from the company last year, but she had the last laugh when she was hired by their main rival at twice the salary.


有网友提出:笑到最后本来就是英语。中文的来自英语。这个有待求证。

前两天看到一个英文俗语,印象深刻——“my cup of tea”,中文即「我的菜」之意。如:You're a good man, but really not my cup of tea. 你人很好,但真不是我的菜。
